We are meeting at Sante Fe Station, 4949 N Rancho Dr (just off the 95) – out front by the large marquee sign. Meet around 10:30am; we’re hoping to leave at 11am sharp.

We’ll take the scenic drive into the Toiyabe National Forest and up to nearly 9,000 feet about sea level, where we’ll enjoy a club ‘Boot Buffet’! Bring your own entre, a side dish to share and your own beverages, plates and silverware. We’ll line up the MINI’s, open the boots and partake in the buffet!

Early Thursday afternoon a small group of us will be headed north towards San Francisco. Friday in San Francisco there’s a MINI Cross scheduled, and later that evening a MINI Countryman Preview Party.

Saturday morning we’ll head southward to Los Angeles. Saturday’s schedule in Los Angeles looks the same as San Francisco, so we might have to find the California clubs to see about some entertainment.

Sunday morning we’ll pack up and head out to Arizona. MINI of Tempe and MINI North Scottsdale (supported by Dynamic MINI Collective) have teamed up to host a Pool party at Hotel Valley Ho. Monday morning it’s back to the MINIs for the fun ride back to Las Vegas.

Monday night we’re in for a “COOL” treat! Desert MINI of Las Vegas is hosting a Party at the minus5 Ice Lounge inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place,. Inside the “Lodge” guests will enjoy food, ice-cold beer and a variety of fine wines. Once coated and gloved, you’ll be escorted into the world-famous “Ice Lounge” for a once-in-a-lifetime experience and our exclusive MINI Takes the States specialty cocktail. You must be 21 years of age or older to attend and the party is FREE to the first 250 guests with proper MTTS credentials. While the temperature will soar above 100 outside, the “Lodge” will be a comfy 74 degrees and the “Ice Lounge” is kept at a constant 28 degrees Fahrenheit, or -5 degrees Celsius. Please dress accordingly. If you can’t make the ice lounge – party headquarters for the later evening will be back at Palace Station.

Tuesday morning, we’ll be crawling back into the daylight to start the next leg of the trip. We’ll be headed to Salt Lake City – Tuesday evening we’ll be joining MINI of Murray for an evening of fun, food, refreshing beverages and giveaways, with another chance to check out the MINI Countryman.

Wednesday morning we’ll rally up and head out to travel the world famous Bonneville Salt Flats and then out to Grand Junction, CO to rest up before the big arrival in Winter Park and Denver on Thursday.

The event will begin at Cars and Coffee. The Scavenger Hunt will officially begin at 9:30 a.m. , but you are more than welcome to arrive earlier (from 7:00 a.m.) to enjoy Cars and Coffee.

Cars and Coffee is held at: 9500 South Eastern Avenue.

Instructions and “The List” will be handed out at 9:30 a.m. and the Scavenger Hunt will begin then. Mark will be at Cars and Coffee until 10:00 a.m. to hand out the Scavenger Hunt Information. If you arrive after 10:00 a.m., you are S.O.L.

What you will need:

1. A sense of humor.
2. Courage.
3. A full tank of gas.
4. A digital camera or cell phone with photo capabilities. (We are hoping to be able to download a LOT of pictures for the website).
5. A partner if possible. The scavenger hunt can be done solo but will be much easier and fun if you have a co-pilot.
6. A few dollars.

Your endpoint will be Mark and Kathy Finn’s house at 7882 Dancing Leaf Street, LV, NV 89131.

The scavenger hunt will officially end at 1:00 pm which means you must be atthe Finn’s house with your loot.

We will be having a cookout/pool party/poker party/whatever/ till whenever, after the scavenger hunt.

SO –

Mark and Kathy Finn will be providing hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, and condiments. Kathy will be making deviled eggs as well.

We ask that everyone bring a side dish to share. Kathy will be at Cars and Coffee to gather the side dishes in the morning so you do not have to drive around with them in your car in the heat!

BYOB as usual. We will not be providing any drinks. You need to bring your own beverages whether it be alcoholic or non-alcoholic.

It would be great if you could RSVP to Kathy at kiffymo@cox.net and let her know how many will be coming and what side dish you will be bringing by Thursday, July 22nd. We will be shooting an email Thursday evening letting everyone know how many will be attending for food planning purposes.

You are more than welcome to bring your children with you to this event! We LOVE children and would be happy for them to enjoy our pool BUT please be prepared to watch them around and in the pool.

Prizes will be awarded.

Tuesday is our first walk through at Palace Station – meet at the Palace Station Guest Registration area at 7pm

Tomorrow is our second walk through at South Point – meet at the South Point Guest Registration Area tomorrow, Wednesday July 21 at 6pm.

Thursday will be our third and final walk through at The Rio – meet at The Rio Guest Registration area Thursday, July 22 at 6pm.
