Meet and Greet: April 12th Desert Mini 6:00pm
As many of you have noticed a lot has changed at Desert MINI. Talking with Brandon the new General Manager we wanted to set up an event to introduce everyone in the club to the new and current staff at Desert MINI of Las Vegas. Brandon has invited us to come out as part of Desert MINI’s Spring Cleaning Sales Event. There will be Go Karts to drive around a course for time trials. Fastest times will win some prizes. This should be a really fun event and we hope all of you will try and make it. Here is a link to the event on their website. While the event runs through Saturday, our special invite is for Friday, April 12, 2013 at 6:00PM.

Run: April 27th Area 51 Fireworks Store, 1381 Highway 372, Pahrump, NV
Area 51 Fireworks in Pahrump is going to have their Demo Night, where they show off their newest products. The Demo starts at approximately 7:30pm (around sunset) at the shooting site (approx. 5 to 6 miles from store), and will last roughly 60 to 90 minutes.
Let’s get together at 5:00pm at Target on Blue Diamond (4100 Blue Diamond Rd Las Vegas, NV 89139) and depart for the show together!

Sign Up Now! Our rates will go up after preregistration closes! Watch the emails for that date!! Also we are looking for volunteers for run leader and tail gunner positions. If you are interested, contact myself or Chris! Volunteers for runs will get a gas gift card and a free volunteer t-shirt!
Registration/Sales booth is different this year so we will not need volunteers for that.

This is the initial posting for the event there will need to be some details worked out and we need to see how much interest there is before solid plans will be made for the event.
Thursday February 21, 2013 at 1830 (6:30PM) we are having a special Motor-In at Grind Burger located at 360 E Tropicana Ave Las Vegas, NV 89169. This is a special Motor-In because we will have a special guest. A committee member of the London and Surrey Mini Club will be in town on vacation and contacted us so lets show them a good time!
I also want to have you guys mark down on your calendars on Saturday March 16, 2013 will be the 6th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Rally put on by the Las Vegas British Auto Club. This has been a fun event over the years My dad and I have one it twice and come in 3rd and 4th I believe. But last year we received Second Place I still believe it was rigged but yes we got the Murphy Trophy and have to plan this years rally! It will be a lot of fun as more information becomes available I will let you know. It will start at 08:30 with breakfast at Kavanaugh’s Irish Pub at 3290 West Ann Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89031-3524.
Also incase you haven’t heard MINI finally landed the unassisted backflip they announced 45 days prior. 45 days is a lot of hang time quite impressive! Watch the videos below it is quite impressive!

Also we have a motor in Tomorrow January 9, 2013 at The Mad Greek. This is a continuation of our World Tour of Cuisine. The Mad Greek is located at 8565 West Sahara Avenue Las Vegas, Nv 89117. We will meet up at 1830 (6:30PM) to have some food and hang out.
It is almost that time of year again for the Laps for Charity on Sunday January 27, 2013. The club has gone the past 2 years and it is a really fun event! For those of you that don’t know what it is it is a charity event for Speedway Children’s Charities for #30 you get to drive behind a pace car on the track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The club has a scheduled time to go around at 8:45AM. We will meet up before hand and drive into the track together more info on that as we get closer to the date. Just wanted to let you guys know about some stuff going on in the near future.
Saturday is the first saturday of the month and that means our trip to cars and coffee is in order.
Every Sunday there is a car show for those of us up here in the north-west. It is a lot like Cars and Coffee and I really don’t know that much about it but went to check it out last Sunday it was pretty cool so if Cars and Coffee on eastern is too far for you. There is a car show up here that is similar. It is every sunday from 0700am to 1000am. It is across the street from the Santa Fe Station hotel and casino in the parking lot for Santa Fe Mining company on Rainbow. Was pretty cool so you might want to check it out
On Tuesday December 4, 2012 at 1830 (6:30PM) we have a Motor-In at Lindo Michoacan located at 645 Carnegie Street Henderson, NV. 89052. Come join us for our next stop on our world tour of cuisine. Not only does this restaurant have great food but it is in a great spot also.

FEES: Group camping is very reasonable so once we know the count we will know exactly how much each tent will cost, we are guessing $15 or less. From what we can tell the pass into the Dixie National Forest is $10 unless you have the park pass. Garrison would like to remind all of the fishermen that if you bring your pole, you should also remember to get a fishing license! You can get one online or near the campground, somewhere. We can get more details for those who request it.

Basic List of supplies
1. A durable shelter device like a tent.
2. A comfortable sleeping bag for a good night’s sleep.
3. An inflatable air mattress or sleeping pad which you should place under the sleeping bag for insulation from the ground for an even better night’s sleep.
4. First aid kit and medications you take.
5. Sufficient food and drinks. Keep those that can spoil frozen in a cooler.
6. Portable stove, pots and pans as well as other cooking and eating utensils.
7. Lanterns and flashlights to light your way.
8. Ropes and cords which you’ll find useful for a variety of purposes.
9. Matches or other fire starters. Matches should be kept in waterproof film canisters.
10. Garbage bags
11. Sufficient clothing.
12. Camera and film.
13. Extra batteries for most of your camping equipment.
14. Garden Gnome because ‘The Instigator’ wants to steal it!!
